Everything documented, in the light of the law

Reparation for the affected families, the system that makes affordable housing possible and every step of BCM’s regularization — open for consultation, with verifiable primary sources.

The REPHIS project

BCM’s historical reparation

For decades, people with no connection whatsoever to BCM used fraudulent documents to drive communities off their land. REPHIS is the initiative for concrete reparation to more than 500 families and 200 affected communities in Rio’s West Zone — in partnership with the Rio de Janeiro Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPRJ), the Public Defender’s Office, UN-Habitat and the law firm Mattos & Mattos as mediators.

  • I

    Public recognition

Identification of the victims, official documentation and historical education about the violations committed.

  • II

    Restitution and development

Mapping of expropriated lands, land-title regularization and a compensation fund for the affected families.

  • III

    Legal justice

Review of fraudulent titles, a truth commission and legal mechanisms for the historical cases.

SIFH & Token KOSI

Independent Housing Finance System

SIFH resolves the long-standing dilemma of affordable housing — in which builder, investor and resident have incompatible interests. The key lies in converting real-estate assets into financial assets through tokenization: the KOSI Token.

Because investor and builder have already been paid through the capital markets, the units carry no burden of further return — and can be offered to the resident at 50% of market value, with no proof of income required.

  • 50%of market value for the resident
  • 3token types: Security, Payment, Utility
  • 0income paperwork to gain access
  • BCMenables the return as a multiple-service bank
  • Investor

Invests in the KOSI Token — a financial asset with real-estate collateral, monthly yield and appreciation, without the volatility of speculative cryptocurrencies.

  • Builder

Sells all units at once through mortgage tokenization. Payment is made once funds are raised on the capital markets, with full collateral for the value built.

  • Resident

Gains access to housing through a lease at cost price, with no proof of income required. Guaranteed priority for REPHIS families.

Legal status

The company was never extinct — only irregular

Banco de Crédito Móvel was not extinguished: it remained irregular for decades and was regularized in accordance with the law. Each step was recognized, in its time, by the competent administrative authorities. There are court challenges under way, brought by third parties with no proven corporate link, which BCM is facing with full transparency — trusting in the final judgment of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ).

STJ · Conflict of Jurisdiction No. 215.515/RJ — Justice Isabel Gallotti

BCM filed a Conflict of Jurisdiction so that the STJ may harmonize the decisions of the lower courts and bring the dispute to a definitive end. The most recent administrative decision — by DREI, upholding JUCERJA — remains favorable.
